This Week's Strip

#177) "Lessons Learned"
August 7, 2000

Once again, Liska comes away from her little misadventure having learned entirely the wrong lesson.

Still, it's unusual for her to care anything at all about the welfare of another individual, which was one of the main appeals of the Old Geezer character for me; He's the one human who has managed to get under her armor, and even when she's not being malicious, Liska manages to cause disasters.

One logical issue that always bugged me a bit about this particular story arc was, how did the paramedics know the Old Geezer was in trouble, and how did they get there so quickly? Fortunately, when you're doing a strip like Mynarski Forest, the reader is prepared to suspend a little disbelief so long as it pays off with a laugh.
