Back in the day, the Dummies and Idiot's guides gave raise to a complete genre of self-help books with titles which, for whatever reasons, deliberately chose to insult their targeted audience's intelligence.
I had a lot of fun coming up with a parody book cover that carried the trend to it's logical conclusion. As Liska points out, how demeaning those titles actually are depends largely on who's reading the book... :) |
