If you look in the bottom left corner of the first panel, you'll see my initials, which could also stand for "Read the Manual"... A piece of advice Skippy and Liska might have found useful if they had actually followed it.
The Ralphco Logging Corporation sign was a bit of an homage to the just recently deceased Ralph Klein, who was the premier of Alberta when I first started the comic. Among other things, he was often criticised by his opponents for putting economic concerns ahead of environmental ones, so naming the logging company after him was a bit of injoke for my Albertan readers.
