Like a lot of guys, I enjoyed WWF wrestling when I was younger and thought the fact that they shared the same initials as the the World Wildlife Fund made for an amusing coincidence worthy of a gag in MF. Unfortunately, legal conflicts over the name would ultimately lead to them to rebrand themselves as the WWE, ruining a perfectly good joke.
I really miss the heyday of the '80's when the WWF featured stars like Hulk Hogan, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Bret "The Hitman" Hart (whom I literally bumped into once in real life!), Andre the Giant, and countless others. Between the conflicting colorful personalities and the over-the-top choreography, it was like a cross between a soap opera and a ballet for guys. The late nineties would see a new generation of stars some of whom were kind enough to pay Skippy and Liska a visit. :)
