Mynarski Forest Official Vintage Archive
It occurred to me that when the time finally came for the humans to release Skippy and Liska back into the wild, the procedure would probably be not unlike the one that first brought Heywood to the forest, with all the humiliations that go along with it. Not a fate worse than death perhaps, but still pretty embarrassing.
In the third panel, Skippy is shielding Liska from danger by deliberately placing himself between her and the threatening humans - another thing that could probably be used against him later on if Liska had only had the presence of mind to notice. |
