Skippy's facial expression in the last panel and Finch's punchline were inspired by an old B.C. comic strip, although the setup is completely different.
I really like how insufferably pleased he is with himself and how clever he thinks he is, and Liska's inadvertant compliment of his diabolical scheme. Unfortunately, he's just a little too disingenuous and transparent for his own good... You just know this isn't going to end well... |
