Liska can be pretty duplicitous a lot of the time, especially when she perceives it to be in her self interest. But every once in a while, she can be genuinely sincere. Unfortunately, it usually makes the duplicity seem preferable by comparison.
Adequate is one of those peculiar words like "nice", which is supposed to have a positive meaning but typically comes off as unflattering. Sadly, it's probably the nicest compliment Skippy is likely to get. |
