One fine morning after finishing a shift several years ago, I was soaking in the hot-tub on the porch when a pair of elderly church ladies decided to pay me a visit.
Although I try to be relatively open-minded and tolerant of other peoples views, they were remarkably oblivious to the fact that this really wasn't an appropriate venue for that specific discussion and I spent several fruitless minutes trying to diplomatically shoo them away to no avail. While I handled that particular situation a lot more graciously than Boofer does here, I have to admit I do appreciate where he's coming from. In all fairness to Liska though, she sincerely is able and willing to show Boofer what it will be like after he dies.... She's not usually so honest or forthcoming! |
