Finch is a pretty decent, level-headed guy but he's being just a little sanctimonious here. Discrimination isn't always all bad; it's what keeps you from picking up that three-hundred pound axe-wielding hitch-hiker in the orange jumpsuit while driving past the prison at three in the morning.

It's worth mentioning again that Heywood and Finch are absolutely straight, but when you're talking about Heywood, being absolutely straight in no way precludes being totally bent.
