Heywood's delusions allow me to draw some pretty cool stuff from time to time and I really enjoyed the opportunity to shoehorn a high performance fighter plane into the comic strip.
In addition to internet photos, an Ertyl "Force One" diecast F-16 model was used as an artistic reference to draw from. Those were great, realistic loooking toys; any errors in proportion seen here are the fault of the artist and not the model! :)
I collected them all and wish they continued to make more of them, but they shifted their focus to replicas of farm machinery in later years.
