As much fun as it was to have Skippy and Liska running about causing havoc as humans, it was necessary to return to the status quo eventually. Short of having the two of them struck by lightening a second time (which Gilligan's Island teaches us causes and cures just about everything), Heywood is extremely useful for warping reality in any way the plot requires. :)
