I had recently visited the Dickson Dam on the Red Deer River before beginning work on this storyline. It reminded me of the iconic dam scene featuring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive and made me want to shoehorn it into the comic somehow. Poor Clarence really did get off worse than everybody else this time around...
Incidently, the first time I had ever seen The Fugitive T.V. series, it was the final episode in which Richard Kimble and Gerard tracked down the one armed man and cleared his name... It pretty much sucked all the suspense out of watching any of the other episodes! :)
